WHAT is YOUTH LEADERSHIP?
Youth Leadership Beatrice is a program designed to educate through experience, motivate young leaders, and enable them to take an active role in their community. We partner with area businesses and groups to introduce our students to non-profits, healthcare and some of our area businesses to teach our how to give back and be involved in our community. This will result in strong leaders who have hope for the future and the tools to influence a positive and progressive community.
WHEN DOES YOUTH LEADERSHIP MEET?
This program is open to incoming freshman and sophomores. Applications for the upcoming class are due in April. Orientation for Youth Leadership is held in July. The class meets throughout the school year every other month. The course requires a few out-of-school time commitments. They do one service project, and they create and facilitate the crafts during the Charles Park Palooza the Saturday of Homestead Days.
Class size is limited.
Youth Leadership provides real-life experiences and gives students the support and structure necessary to deal effectively with those experiences. Youth Leadership Beatrice strives to provide students with leadership skills that will last a lifetime.

To apply, return the completed application to Beatrice High School or Middle School counselor's office or email the completed application to info@beatricechamber.com by April 11th, 2025.
