Beatrice & Gage County have been my home for most of my adult life, and I'm proud of it! We have a great community-base with many positive things happening. There's an amazing drive underway for growth and development, and I am grateful for the opportunity to a part of it.
I've been with the Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce for over eleven years! I have a degree and background in marketing and a passion for serving my community, supporting local, and bringing people together.
I live in Beatrice with my husband, Mike, our two boys, and two dog-kids. In my spare time, I enjoy chasing kid activities, being outdoors hiking and camping, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends!

I moved to Beatrice in 1999 with my husband Mike & we have enjoyed raising our 3 children in this community. I was excited to join the Chamber to help build relationships & growth opportunities to help strengthen our business community. In my free time you'll find me shopping, reading a good book, or spending time with my family.

Dakota Hurley | Tourism Coordinator
Most of my life, I have lived in the Gage county area but moved to Wymore almost 20 years ago and still call it home. Joining the Beatrice Chamber and Gage County Tourism excited me as I have spent so many years here and am passionate about all that our small little slice of earth has to offer.
My husband and I raise cattle just south of Wymore on the farm that he grew up on. We have five children and treasure the heritage we are building with them in Gage county. Being cattlemen usually means that there isn’t much time to get away as there are plenty of chores to do, but that is just fine with us, as we enjoy exploring our local area and supporting those in the communities around us.
When not working you can bet that I am most likely driving kids around, watching our kids various activities, or out doing chores… I wasn’t raised around cattle, but they sure stole my heart!

Growing up in Beatrice has truly shaped the person I am today! I am so excited to join the Chamber and grow in my community. Beatrice has so much to offer and I can’t wait to share that with others. Outside of work you can most likely find me reading a book, staying active, or chasing my three year old nephew around!
